Metro in Pune is a fast-moving public transport system in Pune, India. It has three lines covering a total distance of 54.14 km (33.64 mi). It is India’s 15th metro system. It is built and operated by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited and opened to the public on 6 March 2022. The Pune Metro is being built by MAHA Metro. It is a joint project of the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra. The goal is to provide a safe and comfortable public transport system for Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. By November 2024, 32.97 km (20.49 mi) on two lines are operational.

Purple Line 1 - The Purple Line of the Pune Metro connects PCMC in the north to Swargate in the south, covering 17.4 km with 14 stations. Five stations are underground, spanning about 6 km, while nine are elevated, covering around 11.4 km. With the opening of the District Court to Swargate section, Phase 1 is now fully operational. It runs from 6 am to 10 pm every day.

Aqua Line - The Aqua Line runs from Ramwadi to Vanaz, passing through Mangalwar Peth and Deccan Gymkhana. It is called the Aqua Line because part of it runs along the Mula-Mutha riverbed. The elevated line is 15.7 km long with 16 stations. It connects to the Purple Line and Line 3 at the Civil Court station. The maintenance depot is near Vanaz station on former garbage depot land. The line, which currently ends at Vanaz, will be extended to Chandani Chowk. This decision was made in February 2018 after resolving a dispute over the depot land in Kothrud.
On weekdays (Monday to Friday), the trains run for 13 hours, from 8 am to 9 pm. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday), they run for 14 hours, from 6 am to 10 pm.

Puneri Metro Line 3 - Line 3, also called Puneri Metro, is under construction by Pune IT City Metro Rail Limited. It will run from Civil Court, Pune, to Megapolis in Hinjawadi. It will cover areas like Maan and Bhoirwadi. The 23.3 km (14.48 mi) line will be fully elevated with 23 stations. It will connect to MahaMetro lines at the Civil Court station. Construction is planned in three phases, starting with the Hinjawadi to Balewadi section. It will be followed by Balewadi to Civil Court, Shivajinagar.

Corridor 1: Purple Line runs from PCMC to Swargate and, in between, connects with 14 stations, which are - The 14 stations are PCMC, Bopodi, Sant Tukaram, Khadki, Bhosari (Nashik Phata). And Range Hill, Kasarwadi, District Court, Phugewadi. Also, Budhwar Peth, Shivajinagar (New), Mandai, Dapodi, and Swargate.

Corridor 2: Aqua Line runs from Vanaz to Ramwadi and, in between, connects with 16 stations, which are - The 16 stations are Vanaz, District Court, Anand Nagar, Mangalwar Peth, and Ideal Nagar. The other half is Pune Railway Station, Nal Stop, Ruby Hall Clinic, and Garware College. More of them are Bund Garden, Deccan Gymkhanand, and Yerwada. The other stations are Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan, Kalyani Nagar, PMC, and Ramwadi.
